How do I get access to Proximity?

Proximity is currently in beta and requires an invite code. You can join our waitlist on the homepage to be notified when we have more spots available, or ask a friend who's already using Proximity to share an invite code with you.

Why does Proximity need my location?

Proximity is a location-aware AI assistant that provides personalized recommendations based on where you are. Your location helps us give you relevant suggestions for nearby restaurants, services, and activities. We only use your location to enhance your experience and never share it with third parties.

Is my data secure?

Yes, we take data security very seriously. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We follow industry best practices for security and privacy. You can read more about our data practices in our Privacy Policy.

Can I use Proximity without location access?

Unfortunately, location access is required for Proximity to function properly. Our AI assistant relies on your location to provide relevant, personalized recommendations. Without location access, we wouldn't be able to offer the core functionality that makes Proximity unique.

How can I delete my account?

You can delete your account by contacting us at support@proximity.im. We'll process your request within 48 hours and permanently delete all your data from our systems.

Is Proximity free to use?

Yes, Proximity is currently free to use during our beta period. We may introduce premium features in the future, but we'll always maintain a free tier with core functionality.

Response Times

We aim to respond to all inquiries within 24-48 hours during business days. For urgent technical issues, please include "URGENT" in your subject line.

Our support team is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM PST. While we may not respond immediately outside these hours, we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
